In this week’s message, *Messiah’s Temptation from the Father of Lies | Part 3*, we continue our deep study in Matthew by examining the third temptation of Jesus. Before beginning His ministry, the Messiah faced direct attacks from Satan. These temptations reveal timeless truths about how the enemy works—and how we can stand firm in God’s strength.

Pastor Brandon unpacks the spiritual battle behind temptation, showing us that whenever we step out in faith and obedience, we should expect pushback. Satan’s tactics—doubt, denial, distortion, and deception—are still at work today. Yet, Jesus shows us how to overcome: by clinging to God’s Word, refusing compromise, and worshiping God alone.

**When God Turns Disgrace into Glory — Matthew 4 Explained**

In Matthew 4, Jesus relocates His headquarters to **Capernaum** in **Galilee**—a region many considered disgraced and unlikely for the Messiah. Yet this is exactly where the Light dawns. In this message we unpack why Jesus chose Galilee, what “**Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand**” truly means, and why pastors must serve as **watchmen** who speak to the moral and political realities of their day.

📖 Revelation 6:9–11
 
Beloved, we live in sobering times. The assassination of Charlie Kirk reminds us that attacks on truth-tellers are not new. ✝️ Scripture reveals the pattern: persecution, the cry for justice, the rage of God’s enemies, the reward for faithfulness, and God’s providential control.
 
Charlie was not silenced because of violence or dishonesty—he was silenced because he boldly stood for biblical truth. 🕊️ When the enemies of truth cannot win the argument, they resort to lies, threats, silencing, and murder. Just as Cain rose against Abel, just like Israel’s non remnant rejected the prophets and the remnant of Israel, just like Christendom (i.e., the non-remnant of the church) persecutes the Remnant church, and just like the world crucified the Messiah—so too today they strike at God’s people.
 
🙌 Christian, do not shrink back when truth costs you something. Pray for justice without bitterness. Live as a testimony, even in opposition. Your faithfulness matters, and heaven hears your cry. God will vindicate His people.
 
✨ Stand in courage. Live in love. Speak truth—until He returns. Let your longing be for God’s righteousness. Let your life be a testimony, even if opposition comes. Your faithfulness matters. Keep your eyes fixed on heaven, your citizenship there—not the praise or hostility of this world. Martyrdom may silence a voice on earth, but heaven hears that cry. God will vindicate His people. Let us live in courage, love, and truth — until His return.
